Update on Ethan...

First of all we want to say thank you to all of you who have been praying for Ethan. The Lord has been so faithful to our family. Ethan is out of intensive care! He has been taken off of the ventilator and is healing very well. The doctor has moved him to an intermediate care unit, which is a step down from the ICU. There is still some trace of pneumonia in one of his lungs, but the doctors say he is doing good. Joseph and Christy got to hold him and feed him. There was a possibility early on that he had meningitis, but all of the testing has come back negative. So to sum up: Ethan is healing, is out of the ICU, and is off of the ventilator! He is expected to be in the hospital for at least one more week. Please continue to pray for Joseph and Christy that the Lord would renew their strength.
